I was first licensed 7-8-98 as Tech plus. It took me almost a year to get the 13wpm and I became a General May 25, 1999. I was born and raised on a farm in Southeast Kansas and now I have started my family here. My Elmer, Jim (W∅NKL) has helped me anyway he could. I am like most hams I started out with a CB but soon learned there is better life on the other side of the fence.

I have had many different makes and models of SSB and AM equipment the past several years. My current operating station Icom 7300 and doubles as receiver for my New K7DYY Super Senior. Dentron RT3000, Yaesu FTM400 for local repeaters I have a 40' wilson mono pole full wave 75 meter loop and 40 Meter Dipole. All antennas are fed with 5/8" Andrews hardline.

As you can see I like old microphones. My wife is so proud of me whenI come up with a new one. You can find me on 3.885 in the early morning and late evening hours and around the local repeater of 146.715/444.175 most of the time.

I have reduced a lot of my equipment down as my hobby interest has changed and I have added Photography to my interest.
